Sharif Ambrose

Executive summary

Sharif Ambrose is responsible for leading Grant Thornton's Public Sector Health Care strategic business unit. He has a proven track record of organizational leadership, business development and client service delivery for large management and technology consulting firms. He provides executive direction to clients and project teams in the public services markets. He has extensive experience with all aspects of building and running professional services organizations, including P&L responsibilities, business development, engagement management, recruiting and retention, and sales and marketing.

Ambrose has dedicated the last 16 years of his 23 year career advising clients on improving their operations through the development and implementation of business strategy and information technology. His client service work includes federal financial management, business strategy, performance improvement, and information technology. Before joining Grant Thornton, he was a managing director with another major consulting firm providing business and technology consulting services to clients in public sector and commercial health care.
