Executive summary
Christopher Ballister has more than 20 years of experience in the Federal Government and held a political appointment role as DCIO for the Executive Office of the President (EOP). His private sector work experience included serving as the CEO for a 100 person company that provided system development and consulting support for commercial and government clients. He also served as an Associate Partner at IBM for CXO level Cybersecurity support. His functional areas of expertise are in CIO, COO, CFO, CEO roles with a focus on Cybersecurity, Counter Intelligence, and CXO level information systems support.Mr. Ballister created the CIO organization at EOP (White House); the first SDLC Policy at the US House; the first Information Security Directorates at both EOP and US House; and served as both CIO and Assistant Inspector General for Management & Policy at Health and Human Service (HHS) OIG. His Grant Thornton client work is across the Federal Civilian environment, DoD, State & Local, and commercial areas. He also supports the service area teams in development of compliant solutions for security and privacy requirements. Mr. Ballister received a BS from the US Naval Academy and an MS from George Washington University. He has ISACA certifications in CISM, CRISC, and CGEIT.
