John Batt

Executive summary

John Batt has more than 20 years of experience serving financial services organizations in operations, marketing, product development and sales leadership capacities. As the Financial Services key account executive, Batt is responsible for relationship development, account management and the coordination of client service teams for select financial services clients. Batt coordinates the delivery of all services including audit (internal and external), tax, regulatory, valuation, risk assessment and internal controls, mergers and acquisitions, compensation consulting, Sarbanes–Oxley Act compliance, FDICIA and SEC compliance. He is also responsible for leading the firms’ business development efforts in the Northeast region across all service lines and sectors. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Batt was at Ernst & Young where he managed the global relationship with two large private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
