Paul Beecy

Executive summary

Paul Beecy is a Tax Services partner in the Boston office and partner-in-charge of the New England market territory Tax Services practice. He has provided advice on cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other corporate tax issues to a wide variety of U.S. and non-U.S. clients. Prior to joining Grant Thornton in 2001, he spent 11 years with one of the Big Four accounting firms, which included a two-year assignment in London. Beecy has worked in the UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Iceland, Canada and Israel.

Beecy has hosted numerous seminars on corporate tax issues and M&A tax planning (Tax Executives Institute, Association for Corporate Growth, etc.) and his articles have been printed in a variety of periodicals, including the industry-leading Mergers and Acquisitions journal and American Executive magazine, and he has been quoted in numerous periodicals including The Wall Street Journal, CFO Magazine, The Deal and The Boston Globe.
