Warren L. Clark

Executive summary

Warren has over 27 years of U.S. and international accounting and auditing experience, including more than 15 years on location in Asia. Warren recently completed an assignment as Grant Thornton resident partner in Asia. Based in Shanghai, he supported client relationship management and was a technical resource for teams auditing clients with U.S. and statutory reporting obligations, including significant subsidiaries of U.S. based clients.

Warren previously led audits of both U.S public and private clients in Detroit and Philadelphia; and was a member of the National Professional Standards Group. While in Detroit, he was an adjunct professor at Walsh College, and while in Philadelphia was on the accounting advisory board and taught as an adjunct professor at Drexel University.

From 1996 to 2008, Warren was based in Shanghai and Beijing, where he led audits of and managed client relationships across Asia Pacific based subsidiaries of some of the world’s largest companies. His broad experience includes auditing financial statements prepared under U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and Chinese accounting standards, as well as internal control projects and due diligence reviews. Warren is fluent in Mandarin

Warren leads the National China Business Group (CBG). The CBG is a bridge supporting delivery of quality services in the United States and China and provides insights on the China market.
