Michael Colagiovanni

Executive summary

Mike Colagiovanni is a partner in the Tax Services practice of Grant Thornton’s Cleveland office, specializing in corporate taxes, including income tax accounting and financial reporting matters. He is the Great Lakes market territory leader of Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services (TARAS).

Colagiovanni has over 13 years of corporate tax experience, working with both public and private companies.  He serves a diverse spectrum of companies in a number of industries, including consumer and industrial manufacturing, distribution, and retail. Colagiovanni specializes in federal and state tax consulting areas, including accounting methods, research tax credit, multistate taxation, and international taxes.

As a member of the TARAS group, his responsibilities center around tax provision and tax and finance optimization services. Colagiovanni is also a member of the Grant Thornton Thomson Reuters Certified Implementers Program for ONESOURCE Tax Provision, assisting companies with implementation efforts and leading Grant Thornton internal training initiatives.
