Micah Dekofsky

Micah is a partner in Grant Thornton’s Technology, Media & Entertainment practice and is the firm’s Media & Entertainment Industry Audit Leader. Micah has been with the firm for more than fifteen years and serves clients including long-form and short-form film/TV production, music producers, multi-platform networks, OTT & SVOD platforms, podcast creators & networks, digital & traditional publishers, IP & content licensing, radio/TV broadcasters, advertising and AdTech agencies, Ai/SaaS/enterprise software providers, mobile network operators and aggregators, professional sports teams and talent & sports agencies.

Micah is experienced in revenue recognition, equity and debt transactions, internal controls and financial reporting matters. Additionally, he has significant experience with Media & Entertainment organizations as they raise capital, execute on M&A, expand internationally and enter into cross-border transactions.

Micah is a graduate of the Advanced Leader Program (ALP) focused on international business. ALP was designed for professionals with international portfolios to build face to face relationships with colleagues throughout Grant Thornton International’s 700 offices in 130 countries. Community involvement

Micah is a member of the board of JVS SoCal which helps 30,000+ Angelinos a year, from veterans to at-risk women and teens, obtain sustainable skills through workforce development programs. Micah is also a board member of Hillel of San Luis Obispo.
