Louis Feuerstein

Lou Feuerstein is a managing director responsible for leading Grant Thornton’s Health Care practice in the Metro New York/New England market territory. He has more than 35 years of diversified health care experience, including working with integrated health care systems, acute care hospitals, ambulatory care centers, long-term care facilities, physician practice organizations, specialty care hospitals and behavioral health providers. Feuerstein has also worked with not-for-profit and for-profit health care payors and providers, including managed care organizations.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, he was with ParenteBeard LLC for more than five years, where he served as that firm’s health care business services practice leader. Feuerstein was also a partner at Ernst & Young for more than 22 years, where he served as coordinating partner for both public and private health care organizations. He was also responsible for directing the firm’s corporate compliance and HIPAA privacy practice on a national level, and managed the health care consulting practice in the New York and New England markets for several years.
