Jeffrey Frishman

Executive summary

Jeffrey Frishman is the national managing principal of the Tax Services Practice Policy and Quality group for Grant Thornton. He also chairs the firm’s Reportable Transaction Policy team. Before joining Grant Thornton, he was a partner with the international law firm of Winston & Strawn LLP, focusing on federal, state and local tax controversy matters and advising clients regarding such matters, including opinion and penalty issues and transactional risk analysis. His professional background includes serving as an attorney-adviser to the U.S. Tax Court. Frishman is also an adjunct professor of law in the Graduate Tax Program of Chicago-Kent College of Law.
