Jeffery M. Gellman

Executive summary

Jeffery is an Assurance Partner in the New York Manhattan office of Grant Thornton LLP and has worked for Grant Thornton for over 14 years.  Jeffery has over 16 years of public accounting experience and  has participated in several domestic and foreign registration statements filed with the SEC, served several public companies (including accelerated filers), and been involved with numerous SEC filings throughout his career.  Jeffery has served a variety of public and private companies including media/publishing, technology and software, manufacturing, and service companies.

From October 2007 to September 2011, Jeffery served as the US Resident Senior Manager in the London office of Grant Thornton UK LLP.  His primary responsibility as a US Resident Senior Manager was to provide US accounting guidance and expertise to Grant Thornton clients and engagement teams located within the UK and throughout Europe.  Jeffery also served clients evaluating their International accounts to identify reconciling items to US GAAP.

Upon his return to the US, Jeffery resumed servicing audit clients.  Jeffery’s experience serving international clients and working with Grant Thornton International member firms enables him to put clients and people in touch with our international resources in the most efficient and effective manner.
