As a Partner in Grant Thornton’s Tax Reporting & Advisory practice and the Northeast Tax Innovation Leader, Zara oversees tax client services across eight offices – Boston, Westborough, Metro Park, Albany, Long Island, New York City, Hartford and Stamford.

A proven transformative business innovator and thought leader, Zara sees the use of bots as the future for the tax and finance functions.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Zara was a tax partner in KPMG’s Boston office, where she successfully launched the Accounting Methods and Credits practice.

Zara has more than 20 years of public accounting experience, serving multinational, inbound and private equity companies. Her technical skills include income tax accounting methods, IFRS conversion, and global tax compliance and reporting.
