Mark Rakov

Executive summary

Mark Rakov has more than 25 years of experience in client service, and in the delivery of sophisticated financial services to global corporations and institutions. In his current capacity, Rakov is responsible for generating new business activities and managing existing relationships with key Grant Thornton clients and prospects in the not-for-profit and financial services industries.  

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Rakov worked in a business development capacity at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York, where he helped establish and launch the firm’s finance and treasury group as part of the international tax practice. Rakov is also trained as a corporate banker and worked for HSBC Bank for more than 15 years in various capacities, holding leadership positions in New York and Hong Kong, and serving the bank’s largest multinational corporate relationships.
