Roe has more than 28 years of professional experience working with high net worth individuals and families, closely held businesses, trusts and estates. He specializes in gift, estate and generation-skipping taxes, and the income taxation of trusts and estates. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Roe worked at Deloitte, Arthur Andersen and KPMG, where he served clients in a variety of industries. At Deloitte, Roe also worked in the global tax quality, risk and regulatory area. At Andersen and Deloitte he was a designated specialist in generation-skipping transfer taxation.
