Adam Schrock

Executive summary

Adam is a Managing Director with over 20 years of experience in assisting clients with building and implementing risk management programs.  Adam’s experience crosses a number of risk domains, including cybersecurity, third party management, IT risk management, operational risk, regulatory compliance and privacy.

As the lead for Grant Thornton’s National Third Party Risk Management practice, Adam has led various projects within third party risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity for large global clients. Primary focus has been on the development of regulatory risk and compliance solutions, information protection programs, and strategic implementation of third party risk programs.

Specifically for third party risk programs, Adam has designed and implemented holistic programs for various financial service clients. This includes development of the third party risk processes, both pre-contract due diligence and post-contract ongoing monitoring. Operationalizing the program processes and procedures using technology and tools such as Archer and Hiperos.

• Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Western Michigan University
• Masters of Science in Business Information Technology from Walsh College, a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education as designated by the National Security Agency
