Kirt Seale

Executive summary

Kirt Seale specializes in IT attestation and security projects. He is responsible for the delivery of all IT attestation services in the Dallas office, including engagements focused on financial statement audits, SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC 3 projects, and IT internal audit services. Seale’s responsibilities within these projects include gaining an understanding of each organization’s business; understanding the specific financial statement, operational or compliance risks associated with the organization’s operations; determining how the IT systems affect an organization’s risks and operations; and identifying or testing controls that the organization has put into place to mitigate risk.

He is also the National Special Attestation Reports Solution Group leader. The group is responsible for the delivery of IT audit support and SOC attestation services. In this role, he is responsible for developing firm guidance based on the technical standards relating to these services, performing quality assurance reviews of projects, and developing and delivering training.
