Susanne Shalley

Executive summary

Susanne Shalley is a partner and leader of the Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services practice in our Dallas office. She has 15 years of experience in professional services. Previously she worked 14 years at Deloitte, assisting in auditing tax accruals for multinational public companies and providing tax accounting services to nonaudit clients. She also took on leadership positions and managed large domestic and multinational compliance engagements for companies doing business in many jurisdictions. The majority of her experience includes global co-sourcing engagements that outsource their compliance and accounting for income taxes.

Shalley has diversified experience providing tax consulting services to both public and private companies, and working with other professionals in areas such as M&A, accounting periods and methods, multistate tax planning, and financial reporting for income taxes. She has led several tax services engagements advising the complete tax function of large publicly traded companies – with an emphasis on process optimization.  She has experience with various tax preparation software, including OneSource and Corptax.
