Jeff is a Not-for-Profit Audit Partner in Grant Thornton’s Mclean, Virginia office. Jeff brings over 25 years of experience in providing audit and consulting services exclusively to the Not-for-profit community. Jeff has extensive experience with many types of organizational structures.  His clients have included the National Retail Federation, PhRMA, Goodwill Industries International, Military Order of the Purple Heart Foundation, and American Society of Association Executives, to name a few.

In addition to his extensive audit and tax experience, he has provided consulting services to organizations such as The World Bank, AMVETS, and ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership in a variety of areas, including governance best practices, grant compliance, merger due diligence, and internal controls.

Jeff has also been called upon to present on various topics such as, Endowment Accounting, Educating Your Board about Audits, and Audit Committee Best Practices.

Professional qualifications and memberships

Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Greater Washington Society of CPAs, and the American Society of Association Executives.  His involvement with the AICPA includes membership on the Not-for-Profit Expert Panel, Alternative Investment Task Force, and the Information Management and Technology Assurance Section.
