Jonathan Thompson

Executive summary

Jonathan is a Partner with over 15 years of experience in public accounting. He has significant experience in managing and performing integrated audits of publicly traded companies with both domestic and international operations. This experience includes working on IPOs, registered and un-registered offerings, and complex business acquisitions. He has worked closely with several of our Grant Thornton International offices in China, Mexico, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Colombia, Peru, Germany and South Africa.

He also assists the Florida professional standards audit partner in performing research on a variety of technical accounting matters and ensuring our office maintains the highest level of quality when performing our engagements. Jonathan is also actively involved in providing internal technical training to our firm’s personnel both at the local and national level. He also teaches at external firm sponsored events on technical subject matters and supports the firm’s audit quality initiative by participating in annual quality reviews of Grant Thornton offices around the country.
