Greg Wallig

Executive summary

With over 20 years' consulting experience in both the public and private sectors, Greg brings a diverse perspective to organizations that are seeking to optimize the performance of their business. Clients benefit from Greg’s understanding of various industry segments, international locations and CXO chains of command. He is particularly adept at creating, assessing and optimizing risk frameworks, and speaks and publishes regularly in the national and international media on the intersection of risk and crisis management.

Having previously lead Grant Thornton's Advisory Services Practice for the Atlantic Coast Market Territory and Grant Thornton's Advisory Shared Service Center in Bangalore, India, Greg currently is serving as the MetroDC Office Leader.

Greg has held leadership positions in Grant Thornton’s Public Sector, Healthcare and Financial Services industry sectors.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton in 2005, Greg was a manager with Accenture and a Principal with American Management Systems (now CGI), focused on global technology development, program management and product launch. Highlights of his experience include managing the world’s largest PeopleSoft implementation for Verizon, launching the United States’ first interactive television network for CableVision, and expatriate assignments in Switzerland and the Middle East in support of global telecommunications systems development.
