Jeff is a Partner in Grant Thornton’s Tax Reporting Advisory Services (TRA) practice, and is the national leader of the firm’s Tax Function Optimization service line.

Jeff has over 25 years of consulting experience advising complex tax organizations on tax process improvement and tax risk management initiatives. He has extensive experience performing assessments of corporate tax functions, identifying opportunities for improvement, and executing initiatives to achieve strategic objectives. Jeff’s areas of focus include helping corporate tax departments with organizational design, data management, and analytics, as well as designing and implementing systems and processes that drive efficiencies, mitigate risk, and create value.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Jeff spent a combined 14 years at Big Four accounting firms, providing tax organization transformation services, financial process advisory services, tax software implementations, and other tax consulting services. He also worked at a leading software company, implementing corporate tax software and delivering tax process consulting services to large public and private companies.

Jeff is a Certified implementer for many of the market leading tax software packages, and is a regular speaker on tax process improvement and tax technology at tax and industry events.
