Jamie Yesnowitz

Executive summary

Jamie Yesnowitz, principal and SALT practice and National Tax Office leader, serves as a technical resource for Grant Thornton’s SALT practice. He has 14 years of broad-based SALT consulting experience at the national and practice office levels in large public accounting firms. He has extensive knowledge of state corporate income and sales tax legislation and policy; state tax conformity to federal tax provisions; and state corporate income tax apportionment rules.

Yesnowitz also provides support to the firm’s knowledge management and various industry initiatives. He has written numerous articles in national publications, including the Journal of Multistate Taxation and Incentives, State Tax Today, AICPA Tax Adviser, The State and Local Tax Lawyer, BNA Daily Tax Report and Journal of Taxation and Regulation of Financial Institutions. Prior to entering the field of public accounting, Yesnowitz practiced law as a corporate and securities attorney in New York.
